QUALITY AND ENVIROMENT

The highest managerial level of the GRUPPO CONCIARIO VENETO knowing that they would have to confront daily the expectations of a ever more demanding clientele and bearing a responsibility towards the environment which have an interest also on productivity, have for some time followed an internal structure which has consented the continual improvement of its personal performance with regards to Quality, Environment and Security.
An example that stands out above all, the Integrated System implemented for almost 3 years now at Veneta Conciaria Valle Agno SpA where Quality, the Environment and Security are controlled with by a single system that takes advantage of the synergy common to the three different types of aspects.
The Veneta ConciariaValle Agno SpA, that for some time distinguished itself in the environmental field had been rewarded as long back as the 29th April 1999 with the first certification in Veneto and the forth in Italy for a System of Environmental Management in the tanning industry in line with UNI EN ISO 14001 norms. Subsequently the Veneta Conciaria Valle Agno SpA has implemented it own Quality System which was certified on the 11th December 2000 in terms of UNI EN ISO 9001 norms, with particular emphasis on the projection of its articles characterised by an intense technical research and integrating it with Environmental and Security programmes.
After obtaining optimal results from Veneta ConciariaValle Agno SpA top management of Gruppo Conciario Veneto decided to implement the same successful managerial system in its other two companies within the group, La Veneta spa and Conciaria Adriatica spa.
Conceria Adriatica spa is trying to implement its own Quality System conforming to UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 norms .
La Veneta, instead has reached its objective by having received certification in May 2003 for its Quality System and is focusing its reserves on the improving client satisfaction day by day, that for years have supported this tannery.
Conciaria Adriatica spa as well as La Veneta spa have both the intention of shortly integrating their Quality System with that of Security and Environmental.
